You can download the latest Commvault software for Windows computers by using the Download Manager for Linux application.
Before You Begin
Obtain the Download Manager for Linux application from the Cloud Services website or the Maintenance Advantage website. For more information, see the following:

Note
The Download Manager for Linux application is available from Commvault Platform Release 2023E.
Procedure - Interactive Download

Log on to the computer as root.
In a cluster environment, log on to a physical node of the cluster as root.
Note
If the computer does not have a root user defined, you can install the File System Agent, Oracle Agent, and DB2 Agent by using a non-root user. For more information, see Installation of UNIX Agents by a Non-Root User.

Run the following command:
./Download_Manager_File_Name
To run the installation as a SUDO user with root privileges, run the following command:
sudo ./Download_Manager_File_Name
The welcome page appears.

Click Next.
The Install Task page appears.

Click Download packages to install on a different computer and then proceed to the next page.
The Download Media Options page appears.

Click Download and create Windows custom package and then proceed to the next page.
The Platform Selection page appears.

Select the type of Windows processors that your computers support (Win32 or WinX64) and then proceed to the next page.
The Download Media Options page appears.

Select Full Media Kit or specific packages, and then proceed to the next page.

To select specific packages, select Advanced (package-based-selection).

If you plan to copy the software to the CommServe computer cache, you must download all packages. Specific packages cannot be copied to the cache.
The Download Location page appears.

Specify the location where you want to download the installation package, and then proceed to the next page.
Note
Make sure that the download location has sufficient disk space available for the download.
The Download Media Options page appears.

Select the options based on your requirements, as follows:

Select Download Windows OS updates for appliance/infrastructure clients if you want to download Windows OS updates to install later on a backup appliance, CommServe server, Web Server, or MediaAgent client.
Note
These Windows OS updates are supported on Windows Server 2016 Version 1607 and Windows Server 2019 Version 1809. To view these Windows OS updates, see Windows OS and MS SQL Server Packages Downloaded.

Select Download Microsoft SQL Server updates if you want to download MS SQL Server updates to install later on a backup appliance, CommServe server, or Web Server client.
Note
These MS SQL Server updates are supported on MS SQL Server 2014, MS SQL Server 2016, and MS SQL Server 2019. To view these MS SQL Server updates, see Windows OS and MS SQL Server Packages Downloaded.
The Select Maintenance Release page appears.

Select the maintenance release that you want to download, and then proceed to the next page.

The Install Status page appears.

Click Finish.
Procedure - Silent Download

Run the following command:
./Download_Manager_File_Name -downloadwindows -full
