Performing a Recursive or Non-Recursive Restore

Applies To: EMC Celerra (All other vendors only support recursive restores.)

You can include or exclude all files and subdirectories during the restore of a directory.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Console, go to Client Computers> client > NDMP.

2. Right-click the backup set, and then click All Tasks > Browse and Restore.

3. In the Browse Options dialog box, click View Content.

4. Select the data that you want to restore, and then click Recover All Selected.

5. In the Restore Options for All Selected Items dialog box, click Advanced.

6. On the NAS Options tab, choose one of the following:

   • To include all files and subdirectories, select the Recursive Restore check box.

   • To exclude all files and subdirectories, clear the Recursive Restore check box.

7. Click OK.
