Recommendations for WORM Storage

To review and adjust retention settings for WORM storage and its dependent copies, consider the following recommendations.

• Review the report to identify copies not in sync with the storage retention settings.

• Execute the following script from the command line with appropriate names for storage policy and storage policy copy as inputs:

  qoperation execscript -sn StoragePolicyCopyParam -si Storage Policy name -si Storage Policy Copy name -si 'OverrideRetentionFlag' -si 0

• Add the ForceFullOnWORMDDBSeal additional setting to convert the next backup to synthetic full backup after sealing the DDB for WORM storage lock enabled storage pool.
