Restoring Azure File Share Data Across Cloud Accounts

You can restore Azure File share data cross-cloud to a different cloud account that is configured as an instance in the CommCell Console. You can restore to Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud accounts.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Cloud Apps > instance.

  2. Right-click the subclient, and then click Browse and Restore.

    The Browse and Restore Options dialog box appears.

  3. Click View Content.

  4. Select the data that you want to restore, and click Recover All Selected.

    The Restore Options dialog box appears.

  5. On the General tab, provide the destination information:

    1. Select the Cloud check box.

    2. From the Destination Client list, select the Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud client.

    3. From the Destination Instance list, select the appropriate instance.

    4. In the Destination Path box, type the full restore location path.

  6. On the Job Initiation tab, specify whether to run the restore now or if it will be scheduled.

    Note: If you selected Schedule, set up the schedule.

  7. Click OK.
