Specifying the Public IP Address for Database Application Migration

When you migrate the database application to the cloud, the cloud machines must be able to communicate with the CommServe computer.

When the CommServe computer or proxy host does not have a public IP address, use this additional setting to specify the public IP address so that the cloud machines can communicate with the CommServe computer.

Procedure

• To the CommServe computer, add the sMigCSPublicHostName additional setting as shown in the following table.
