VMW0083: Unregistering the vCenter Plug-in (VMware)

If an attempt to unregister the vCenter Plug-in from the CommCell Console is unsuccessful, perform the following steps to unregister the plug-in.

Note

Executing QScripts requires the Administrative Management permission at the CommCell level unless otherwise stated.

Download the vCenter Plug-in Unregistration SQL Script item from Cloud Services (Commvault Store > Virtualization).
Copy the RegisterVcenterPlugIn.sql file to the Base folder on the CommServe host.
From the Base folder, run the following command to unregister the specified client:

QScript.exe -f RegisterVcenterPlugIn.sql -i client_name VMware 0
```

You can register a new plug-in client using the following command:

QScript.exe -f RegisterVcenterPlugIn.sql -i new_client_name VMware 1
