Adding an Additional Server

You can add an additional server to your Commvault solution to replace an existing server or to help reduce the load on existing servers. When you install any Commvault software on the server, the File System Agent package is automatically installed and does not consume a license. When you add a new server, you can add any of the following Commvault software on the server:

  • Active Directory

  • Advanced Indexing Pack

  • Cassandra

  • Cloud Apps

  • DB2

  • Domino Database

  • Exchange

  • File System

  • MediaAgent

  • MySQL

  • Office 365

  • Oracle

  • PostgreSQL

  • Sharepoint

  • Splunk

  • SQL Server

  • SAP HANA

  • Virtual Server

  • Web Console
