Adding a Dell EMC Isilon Server for NDMP Backup Operations for Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale

You can add a NAS Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale server for NDMP backups.

Procedure

  1. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Add server.

    The Add Server dialog box appears.

  2. Click NAS.

    The Add NAS server dialog box appears.

  3. In the Name box, enter the name of the Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale server.

  4. In the Host name box, enter the fully qualified host name of the Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale server.

  5. From the Plan list, select a server plan.

  6. Under Choose backup method(s), expand NDMP configuration.

  7. From the Access nodes list, select an access node.

    Access nodes are computers that act as MediaAgents.

  8. In the NDMP login box and the NDMP password box, enter the credentials needed to access the NAS server.

  9. To assign a different listen port, in the Listen port box, enter a port number.

    The default value is the port number that is assigned to the default computer.

  10. To update the Backup content, click Edit. By default All Volumes is selected.

  11. Click Save.
