To archive data on a file server, you can add a new or existing file server.
File Servers
The following file server types are supported:

NAS file servers such as NetApp, Dell EMC VNX / Celerra, Hitachi NAS (BlueArc), EMC Unity, and Isilon.

Windows file servers

UNIX and Linux file servers

Big data file servers such as Hadoop (HDFS), IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS), and Lustre
Known Issues

File servers that were configured using indexing version 1 are not displayed.

Older file servers that you ran analytics operations on are not displayed on the File servers page. However, you can add these file servers as an existing file server.

You can predict the number of files that qualify for archiving only for older clients that you ran analytics operations on.
