Deploying the Commvault Plug-In for Nutanix Mine as a VM

Applies to: Nutanix Prism 6.0

You can deploy the OVA file as a VM in Nutanix Prism.

Procedure

1. On the Nutanix Cluster, in Prism Central, on the VM dashboard, select the OVA package you uploaded, and in the Actions list, select Deploy as VM.

   The Deploy as VM page appears.

2. On the Configuration tab, enter information for the VM you are deploying.

   1. In the Name box, enter a name for the VM.

   2. from the Cluster list, select the Nutanix cluster where you want to deploy the VM, and then click Next.

3. On the Resources tab, click Attach to Subnet.

   The Attach to Subnet dialog box appears.

   1. From the Subnet list, select Nutanix.

   2. From the Network Connection State list, select Connected, and then click Save.

   3. Click Next.

4. On the Management tab, click Next.

5. On the Review tab, click Create VM.

   The VM is created on the Nutanix cluster that you specified.
