Effect of Deprecation
Adding a virtual client for SharePoint Online (Classic) is deprecated. New installations and upgrades are not supported for any release. Support will continue for existing clients.
Replacement
You can use Office 365 SharePoint Online in the Command Center. For more information, see SharePoint Online.
