Effect of Deprecation
Starting on June 15, 2023, Commvault will no longer support the VM provisioning feature and the Virtual Machines application in the Web Console.
Replacement
Users can use the admin console for live mounts, where the recovery target can also be used. VM creation and VM management must be moved to an actual virtualization or a cloud platform such as VMWare, VCenter, or an Azure or AWS cloud-management portal.
