Getting Started with Virtualize Me for Windows and UNIX File Systems

Verify that your environment meets the system requirements to perform Virtualize Me for Windows and UNIX file systems with Commvault, and then complete necessary setup in the Commvault software.

Before You Begin

  • If your network has firewall topology configured, then create a server group with the network settings required for 1-Touch operations. For more information, see Network Topology.

  • If filters are added to the subclient configuration and they filter out operating system components, then the restored machine may encounter operating system issues.
