Mass Distribution in a Non-AD LDAP Environment

You can mass distribute and install the laptop package in a non-AD and non-LDAP environment.

After the laptop package is mass distributed and installed, if you have a default laptop plan or if you have only one laptop plan, then all laptops are activated.

Procedure

  1. Select a default laptop plan.

  2. Add laptop and owner mappings.

Results

When the Laptop package is installed on a listed laptop with an authorization code, the software automatically assigns the corresponding listed owner as the laptop owner.
