sAfter you create the Azure Virtualization client computer, add the Commvault database agent to the Azure Virtualization client computer where you perform the backup operations and the restore operations.
Note
You will not be able to add a database agent using a virtual client that was created before V11 Service Pack 16. To add a database agent, you must create a new virtual client.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers.

Right-click the Azure Virtualization client, point to All Tasks > Add Database Agent > Database.
Where, database refers to the agent you need to install, like, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
The Agent Properties dialog box appears.

On the Cloud Configuration tab, add the proxy server:

Click Add.
The Select Clients/Client Groups dialog box appears.

Under Exclude, select the proxy server that is in the Azure cloud, and then click Include.

Add the proxy server with MySQL version similar to the Azure database that you want to use with bin path where mysql binary and mysqldump binary are present. For example, if you are using MySQL 5.7 Azure database, specify the Version as 5.7.

For PostgreSQL, add the PostgreSQL database version and the installation path of the PostgreSQL database (for example, /opt/commvault/CVCloudAddOns/PostgreSQL).
