Adding the Exchange Database Agent

Applies to: Exchange 2007 or later, and IntelliSnap

After you install the Exchange package, add the Exchange Database Agent to the client where the package is installed. In this procedure, the Exchange Database Agent is referred to as the agent.

Before You Begin

Gather the information that you need to complete the procedure.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers.

2. Right-click the client, and then click All Tasks > Create New Application Type > agent_name.

   A message appears that asks you if you want to create the application type.

3. Click Yes.

   The agent appears below the client.

4. Right-click the agent, and then click Properties.

   The Properties dialog box appears.

5. Configure the agent based on the information that you collected.

After you add and configure the Exchange Database Agent, perform any other required configurations on the agent, client, or subclient.
