This data would be restored to an in-place destination.

Restore data from a specified range of time

The data was accidentally deleted.

  2. Browse and restore data based on a time range that you specify.

Typically, this data would be restored to an out-of-place destination.

Restore to a point in time

The database is corrupted or otherwise invalid.

Determine the date and time.

Typically, this data would be restored to an in-place destination.

Restore Destinations

You can restore the data to any of the following destinations:

  • The same Azure database instance

  • An Azure database instance that is different from the source instance

  • An on-premise server
