Changing the Location of the Log Files

You can change the location where the log files are created.

Procedure

1. To the client computer, add the dEVLOGDIR additional setting as shown in the following table.

2. Property	Value
   Name	dEVLOGDIR
   Category	EventManager
   Type	STRING
   Value	The location where the log files will be created. Note The log file location must be local storage, not shared storage. For example, the log location cannot be a clustered disk share.

3. Restart client services.
