The Commvault plug-in provides recovery of virtual machines and files from within the vSphere Web Client (Flash version). vSphere users can manage and restore virtual machines or files using the Commvault Web Console inside the vSphere Web Client, without launching the CommCell Console.
One vSphere plugin of a vCenter supports a single Commcell environment, but not multi-Commcell environment.
The plug-in includes the following capabilities:

Register and configure the plug-in from the Commvault Command Center.

Use single sign-on through the vSphere Web Client.

Access the Commvault plug-in through the Monitor tab or the VM details page in vSphere Web Client.

Recover virtual machines or guest files and folders.
