Configuring the Oracle ZFS Storage Array Using Array Management

For IntelliSnap backups from Commvault software, add the Oracle ZFS storage array and its configuration information to the CommServe database.

Procedure

  1. On the ribbon in the CommCell Console, click the Storage tab, and then click Array Management.

    The Array Management dialog box appears.

  2. Click Add.

    The Array Properties dialog box appears.

  3. On the General tab, specify the following information:

    1. From the Snap Vendor list, select Oracle ZFS Storage.

    2. In the Name box, enter the host name or the IP address where administrative access to the ZFS Storage Appliance is set.

    3. In the Credentials area, click Change.

      The Enter the User Name and Password dialog box appears.

    4. Type the credentials of a user who has administrative privileges to access the array, and then click OK.

  4. To configure additional MediaAgents to perform operations on the storage array, click the Array Access Nodes tab, and then select configuration options.

  5. Click OK.
