Copying Full Cycle Jobs

Use SelectAdditionalJobs qscript to select additional non-full jobs for a selective copy.

Procedure

1. At the command prompt, navigate to <software installation directory>\Base on the CommServe computer.

2. Log on to the CommServe computer.

   C:\<software installation directory>\Base> qlogin -cs server1 -u user1
    Password:
    User logged in successfully.
       
   

3. Run the following command.

    
   C:\<software installation directory>\Base> qoperation execscript –sn SelectAdditionalJobs –si <Storage_Policy_Name> -si <Storage_Policy_Copy_Name> -si <Backup_Types>
       
   

   The following are valid values for the backup types:

   • 0, to disable the selection of additional jobs

   • 1, to include differential jobs

   • 2, to include all non-full jobs
