Updated

You need to create a subclient when you want to protect a subset of the PostgreSQL server data.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > PostgreSQL > instance.

  2. Right-click the backup_set, point to All Tasks, and then click New Subclient.

The Create New Subclient dialog box appears.

  3. On the General tab, in the Subclient name box, type a unique name for the subclient.

  4. On the Content tab, specify the data to include in the subclient:

    1. Click Configure.

The PostgreSQL Database Configuration dialog box appears.

    2. In the Database Name column, select the databases to include in the subclient, and then click OK.

  5. On the Storage Device tab, from the Storage Policy list, select the storage policy name.

  6. Click OK.
