Disabling the RMAN Crosscheck

You can disable the data aging cross check that synchronizes the entries in the CommServe database with the RMAN catalog. By default, during a data aging operation, an Oracle CROSSCHECK is performed.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Client Computers > RAC client.

2. Right-click the instance, and then click Properties.

   The Modify Instance Property window appears.

3. On the Details tab, select the Disable RMAN cross check check box.

   A warning message appears, describing the results of disabling the cross check.

4. Click OK to close the warning message.

5. Click OK.
