By default, all MediaAgents are displayed under the Storage Resources node in the CommCell Browser This includes clients that have only the MediaAgent binaries, like clients configured for block-level backups or IntelliSnap backups.
You can hide such MediaAgents and prevent it from being displayed under the Storage Resources node, and from the MediaAgents list displayed in operations like backup, browse, restore and auxiliary copy operations.
Procedure

From the CommCell Console ribbon, click the Home tab, and then click Control Panel.

In the Storage section of the Control Panel dialog box, double-click on Media Management.

Click the Service Configuration tab, and then set Show MediaAgents with no libraries to 0.

Click OK to save the configuration.
