Getting Started with Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP

Getting started with setting up Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP file storage includes verifying system requirements, configuring Open Replication and creating a storage virtual machine (SVM).

Procedure

1. Verify that your system meets systems requirements.

2. If you want to use SnapVault copy or SnapMirror copy, then do the following:

   1. Create a storage policy.

   2. Configure a secondary snapshot copy.

3. Configure the SVM in Array Management.

4. Optional: To customize the file storage to your environment, edit the snapshot configuration properties.
