MSSQL Availability Group Command Line Operations

If you have created a SQL Availability group on SQL, then you can run XML queries that return the group information, and then create a Commvault availability group client by using the Commvault Command Line Interface.

Procedure

  1. Retrieve the Availability Group information from SQL. For more information, see Retrieving SQL Availability Group Properties Using the Command Line Interface.

  2. Retrieve the SQL Availability Group replication information. For more information, see Retrieving SQL Availability Group Replication Information Using the Command Line Interface.

  3. Create the Commvault Availability Group that corresponds to the SQL Availability Group. For more information, see Creating a SQL Availability Group Client Using the Command Line Interface.
