Reporting Your Recovered Laptop from the Web Console

If you report your laptop missing and later recover it, you can return your laptop to its normal operating settings by marking the laptop as found. However, files that were securely erased cannot be recovered.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Laptops.

   The Laptops page appears.

2. Click Settings for the laptop that you want to mark as found.

   The laptop properties page appears.

3. In the upper-right corner of the page, click the action button , and then click Mark laptop found.

4. Click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.
