Using an End-User Account for 1-Touch Recovery (Non-Interactive)

Administrator can create a separate end-user account to perform the 1-Touch recovery. The end-user account must have the following permissions on the backup client to perform 1-Touch Recovery. You can assign the permissions at the client level, client group level, or from the Control Panel. For instructions, see Client Owner Security.

  • Browse

  • End User Access

  • Out-of-place

  • In-Place Recover

  • Install Package/Update

  • Install Client

  • Agent Management

  • Overwrite on restore

Non-Interactive Restore

By default, an access token with a validity period of seven days and associated with the user account which you have used to login to CommCell console will be used to perform the non-interactive restore. To create an access token with a different validity period or to perform the restore operation using another user account, use the following procedure.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Console, navigate to <Client>

    Right-click the <Client> and click All Tasks | 1-Touch Recovery Points

  2. Click Next.

  3. On the Review Recovery Options dialog box, click on the General tab.

  4. In the Override access token section, click the Click here to create new token link.

    You will be redirected to the Command Center application to create a new access token. For more information on how to create an access token in Command Center, see Creating an Access Token.

  5. In the Access Token field, paste the access token that you created.

  6. Click Finish.
