The Get and Process Authorization workflow handles the authorization process of business logic workflows. Use this workflow to specify who authorizes the request, who is exempt from getting authorized, and other details.
Before You Begin
Download and deploy the Get and Process Authorization workflow to process authorization requests from Business Logic workflows.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, go to Workflows.

To enable a user or user group (other than the Master user group) to authorize or to authenticate requests from the Business Logic workflows, do the following:

Right-click the Get and Process Authorization workflow, and then click Properties.

On the Configuration tab, select the user or user group:

Users who can authenticate the request: The selected users can authenticate or authorize requests from the Business Logic workflows.

User groups which can authenticate the request: The users of the selected user groups can authenticate or authorize requests from the Business Logic workflows.

Default approvers user group: The users of the selected user group can authenticate or authorize requests from the preceding Business Logic workflows. The default value is Master user group. If no user and user group is specified in any of the configuration properties, then the users of master group are considered as approvers.

Allow user(s) to process request without authorization: If the selected user performs a task that initiates a business logic workflow then authorization is not required.

Allow usergroup(s) to process request without authorization: If the selected user group performs a task that initiates a business logic workflow then authorization is not required.

Default timeout for authorization: If the authorization request is not authorized after the selected time elapses, then the authorization request expires.
