View Jobs Associated With a Copy

You can view jobs associated with a copy.

Applies To

Primary Copy, Synchronous Copy, Selective Copy, Snapshot Copy, Spool Copy, Parallel Copy, Inline Copy, Deferred Copy, and WORM Copy

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Policies > Storage Policies > storage_policy.

  2. Right-click the appropriate storage policy copy, and then click View > Jobs.

  3. In the Job Filter for Storage Policy dialog box, clear the Specify Time Range check box, and then click OK.

    A list of jobs associated with a storage policy copy is displayed in the Jobs for Storage Policy Copy pane of the CommCell Console.

The following table explains the various status of the Jobs associated with a synchronous copy.

The jobs that are already copied.

to_be_copiedTo Be Copied

The jobs that are available on source copy and will be copied on synchronous copy during an Auxiliary Copy operation.

partialPartially Copied

The data of the job is partially copied to the synchronous copy in any of the following cases:

  • Auxiliary copy operation is still running and the jobs appear as partially copied until the operation is complete.

  • Auxiliary copy operation failed due to unexpected job failure.

  • Auxiliary copy operation was killed.

    In the cases of job failure and killing of auxiliary copy operation, the job will be copied to a synchronous copy in the next auxiliary copy operation.

availablePartially Available

The data of the job is not completely copied to the synchronous copy, data of the job is completely copied and part of the data is aged, or partially copied jobs are marked as Do Not Copy.

Note:

  • If Partially Copied jobs are marked as do not copy, the status of the job will change as available Partially Available and those jobs will not appear in the Jobs for Storage Policy Copy window.

    To view partially available jobs, select the Jobs that will not be copied check box in the Jobs in Storage Policy Advanced Filter Options dialog box.

partial disabledPartially Available & Disabled

If Partially Available jobs on a copy are marked as do not copy, the status of the job will change as partial disabled Partially Available & Disabled.

not_selectedBad

The jobs that are marked as bad when it encountered invalid or unreadable data during Auxiliary Copy or Data verification or DDB Reconstruction or Content Indexing operations.
