Disabling Marketing and Notification Messages

When users log on to the Command Center, marketing, notification are displayed by default. You can disable these messages to help users stay focused on operational tasks or limit them to only those that are most important.

Where Do the Messages Appear

• Marketing event notifications: In a pop-up on the center of the screen.

• Important notifications: In a pop-up on the center of the screen.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > CommCell.

   The CommCell page appears.

2. In the Settings section, do the following:

   • To stop marketing related messages, move the Receive Commvault marketing and event notifications toggle key to the left.

   • To stop important notifications (such as security alerts and bug fix), move the Receive important notifications toggle key to the left.
