To verify that the MongoDB cluster is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.
Back Up the Cluster

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.
The Big data page appears.
 - 
In the row for the cluster, click the action button
, and then click Back up.The Select backup level dialog box appears.
 - 
Click OK.
 
Prepare the Cluster for the Restore
- 
If you scheduled oplog dump backups, disable them.
 - 
Stop all mongos or mongod processes.
 - 
Clear the data directory paths on all the nodes.
 
Restore the Cluster
- 
From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.
The Big data page appears.
 - 
In the row for the cluster, click the action button
, and then click Restore.The Backup content page appears.
 - 
Select the content for the restore.
 - 
Click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.
 - 
From the Restore mode type list, select In place, click Restore.
A confirmation message appears.
 - 
Click Yes.
