Performing File System Backups

Back up your file system data.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

   The File servers page appears.

2. Click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. Under Subclients, in the Actions column for the subclient, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

4. For Backup level, select the backup type.

5. Optional: To receive Email and CommCell Console alert notifications when the backup operation completes, select the When the job completes, notify me via email check box.

6. Click OK.

7. Optional: To view the job details, click the job ID.

8. Optional: To view the list of items that failed to backup, click the count of failed folders and files.
