Adding the CommServe Administrator Password

You can add a CommServe administrator password. It is recommended to add a password when you log on to the CommServe for the first time.

By default, the CommServe does not have a password and as a result, when you log on to the CommServe using the Command Center for the first time, a blank password can be used.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Security > Users.

   The Security page appears.

2. Click the Users tile.

   The Users page appears.

3. Under the Username column, click admin.

   The admin page appears.

4. On the upper right corner click Edit.

   The Edit User dialog box appears.

5. Type the Password in Password box.

6. Click Save.
