Adding Credentials to a Cloud Library

You can create a credential to access a cloud library.

Note

To set different credentials for each MediaAgent for a cloud mount path, you must enable the Update cloud library credential to selected device controller only additional setting.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Storage > Cloud > cloud_storage.

    The cloud storage page appears.

  2. On the Bucket section, click Add.

The Add bucket dialog box appears.

  3. From the MediaAgent list, select the MediaAgent that you want to write the data to the cloud library.

Alternatively, you can click the + sign to create new MediaAgent.

    Note

The list displays MediaAgents classified as Active (MediaAgents having license) and Inactive (MediaAgents having MediaAgent package installed, but license not consumed). The license is auto consumed if you select an inactive MediaAgent.

  4. In the Service host box, type the name of the cloud server host.

  5. From the Authentication Type list, select the required authentication.

  6. From the Credentials list, select the credential that you want to use to access the cloud library.

Alternatively, you can click the + sign to create new credential.

For information about the credentials needed for each vendor, see Cloud Provider Information.

  7. In the Bucket box, type the bucket name.

  8. Click Save.
