Backing Up a SQL Instance On Demand

You can back up a SQL instance on demand.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The Overview page appears.

2. On the Instances tab, click the SQL instance.

   The instance page appears.

3. On the Subclients tab, in the row for the subclient that you want to back up, click the action button , and then select Backup.

   The Backup options dialog box appears.

4. Under Backup level, specify the type of backup to perform.

5. Click Submit.
