Completing Remote Installations of Active Directory

If you installed the Active Directory (AD) server remotely, then you must complete the set up of the Active Directory server. An example of a remote installation is installing Active Directory by going to Manage > Servers >Add server.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Applications > Active Directory.

   The Active Directory page appears.

2. In the row for the Active Directory server, click the action button , and then click Settings.

   The Active Directory settings dialog box appears.

3. In the User account box, enter the user account needed to access the Active Directory server.

4. In the Password box, enter the password needed to access the Active Directory server.

5. In the Confirm Password box, retype the password.

6. From the Plan list, select a plan.

7. Click Save.
