You can add a NAS Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale server for backups of NFS exports.
Before You Begin
NFS shares require the following privileges to run Changelist backups.

Start the Configuration Wizard

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File Servers.
The Overview page appears.

Go to the File servers tab.

In the upper-right corner of the page, click Add server.
The Configure File Server page appears.

Select NAS and click Next.
The Add NAS server page of the configuration wizard appears.

Click Next.
The Plan page of the configuration wizard appears.

From the Plan list, select a server plan.

Click Next.
The Backup Method page of the configuration wizard appears.

Move the NFS toggle key to the right.

Click Next.
The Network Share Configuration page of the configuration wizard appears.

For Array, click Add.
The Add array dialog box appears.

From the Select vendor list, select Dell EMC Isilon.

In the Array name box, type the array name.
-
In the Control host box, type the control host IP.

In the User name and Password boxes, type the credentials for the array.

Select the access nodes groups and access nodes to use for the Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale server.
Access nodes are computers that have the Commvault UNIX file system software installed.

Click Save.

Select the NFS access node.
Backup Content

To back up all the CIFS shares, leave the default value.
To customize the content that is backed up, do the following:

Click Edit.

The Add/edit content dialog box appears.On the Content tab, choose the data to include in the backup.

To enter paths to items you want to include in backups, in the Enter custom path field, enter a path, and then click the add button.

To select items from a file system view of the server, click Browse, and then select the check boxes for the items that you want to include in backups.

To add filters to exclude items from backups, in the Exclusions tab, do the following:

To enter paths to items you want to exclude from backups, in the Enter custom path field, enter a filter pattern, and then click the add button.

To select items from a file system view of the server, click Browse, and then select the check boxes for the items that you want to exclude from backups.

To configure how global exceptions are applied to the subclient, from the Include global exception filters list, select one of the following:
-
Use cell level policy (default): Enables or disables the global exceptions for the subclient depending on whether the Use global filters on all subclients option is enabled for the environment.

On: Enables the global exceptions for the subclient.
-
Off: Disables the global exceptions for the subclient.

To configure exceptions to the exclusion filters, in the Exceptions tab, do the following:

To enter paths to items you want to except from the backup filters (exclusions), in the Enter custom path field, enter a filter pattern, and then click the add button.

To select items from a file system view of the server, click Browse, and then select the check boxes for the items that you want to except from the backup filters (exclusions).

Click Save.

Click Next.
The Migrate To This Server page appears.

Click Add.
