Editing Cluster File Servers

You add or remove clients or agents from the cluster file server that you created.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

    The Overview page appears.

  2. Go to the File servers tab, and then click the cluster server that you want to edit.

    The servers properties page appears.

  3. On the Configuration tab, in the Cluster group section, click Edit.

  4. To edit the location of the job results directory, in the Job storage cache box, type the location of the job results directory. Alternately, click Browse to navigate to the location of the job results directory.

    Note

    The job storage cache must reside on a shared cluster drive. The shared cluster drive must be associated with the Client Access Point that you specified in the Host name box.

  5. To edit the physical nodes, from the Nodes list, click to select the physical nodes where you installed the Commvault agent, and then click OK.

    Note

    The new node must be a part of the Microsoft failover cluster.

  6. To edit the agents you want to use in the cluster file server, from the Agents list, click to select the agents, and then click OK.

  7. Optional: A node that is associated to the Microsoft failover cluster might not be accessible at the time of configuration. Toggle the Force sync configuration on remote nodes key to right make the nodes accessible.

  8. Click Save.
