You can change the clusters that you want to back up in an Amazon Redshift cluster group. You can also add a rule to discover the clusters based on a cluster name or a tag name associated with the cluster. All the clusters that match the rule are added to the cluster group automatically.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The Instances page appears.

Click the instance.
The instance page appears.

In the Cluster group section, click the Name of the cluster group that you want to modify.
The cluster group details page appears.

In the Content section, click Manage.
The Amazon Redshift content page appears.

To discover clusters based on a rule, click Add cluster rule.
The Add cluster rule dialog box appears. Select one of the following options for defining a rule for cluster discovery:

To use a rule based on cluster name, complete the following steps:

From the Select rule for list, select Cluster.

From the Which matches with list, select the rule that you want to apply. For example, to discover clusters that match a specific name, select Equals.

In the Name box, type the keyword on which you want to match the cluster name.

To close the Add cluster rule dialog box, click OK.

To view the list of clusters that match the cluster rule criteria you selected, click Preview.

To use a rule based on a tag name, complete the following steps:

From the Select rule for list, select Tag.

In the Tag name box, type the tag name on which you want to discover the clusters.

From the Which matches with list, select the rule that you want to apply. For example, to discover clusters that match a specific tag value, select Equals.

In the Tag value box, type the tag value on which you want to match the tag name for the clusters.

To close the Add cluster rule dialog box, click OK.

To view the list of clusters that match the cluster rule criteria you selected, click Preview.
