Open Systems Data Protection (OSDP) will be end-of-life in all OEMs including the Commvault IntelliSnap for NetApp. For more information about the Obsolescence Policy, see Obsolescence Policy.
Effective Date
You can continue to run the OSDP feature until October 1, 2020.
Effect of Deprecation
The OSDP feature is no longer supported. Backup copies of the OSDP snapshots are supported for restore operations.
For similar functionality, use block-level backups. For more information, see Block-Level Backups.
Caution
Do not delete any OSDP storage policy copies until all data expires.
