To verify that the YugabyteDB cluster is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.
Back Up the Cluster

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.
The Big data page appears.

Click the YugabyteDB cluster.
The cluster page appears.

In the upper-right corner of the page, click Back up.
The Backup dialog box appears.

Select one of the following backup levels:

Full
-
Incremental
-
-
Click SUBMIT.
Restore the Cluster

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.
The Big data page appears.

Click the YugabyteDB cluster.
The cluster page appears.

In the upper-right corner of the page, click Restore.
The Restore page appears.

If you want to restore databases of the cluster, complete the following:

Select either cluster or databases as per requirement, and then click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.

From the Destination Cluster list, select the same cluster instance for in-place or a different cluster instance for out of place cluster restore.
For out of place restores, if encryption at rest is enabled on the source cluster, from the KMS Configuration list, select the KMS configuration on the destination cluster which is similar to the active KMS configuration on the source cluster. If encryption at rest is not enabled on the source cluster, do not select any configuration from the KMS Configuration list.

In Database details section, you can change the destination database name to restore it as a different entity.

In No of streams, enter the number of streams to use for the restore.

Click Restore.
