Perform a Test Backup and Restore of the SharePoint Server

To verify that the SharePoint Server is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.

Back Up the Server

1. From the navigation pane, click Protect > Applications > SharePoint.

   The SharePoint page appears.

2. Click a SharePoint Server.

   The SharePoint Server page appears.

3. In the row for the default subclient, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

4. Select Full.

5. Click OK.

Restore the Server

1. From the navigation pane, click Protect > Applications > SharePoint.

   The SharePoint page appears.

2. Click a SharePoint Server.

   The SharePoint Server page appears.

3. In the row for the default subclient, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The Backup content page appears.

4. Select the check box for the backup.

5. Click Restore.

   The restore dialog box appears.

6. Click Restore.
