Recovering a DB2 Database to Its Current Location (In Place)

You can recover a DB2 database to its current location (in place).

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

    The Instances page appears.

  2. Click the instance.

    The instance page appears.

  3. On the Overview tab, in the upper-right corner of the Recovery points section, select the database from the list, and then click Restore.

    The Backup content page appears.

  4. Select the data to restore, and then click Restore.

    The Restore options dialog box appears.

  5. On the In place tab, select the Recover database check box, and then specify whether to recover the database to the end of the logs or to a point in time.

  6. Click Submit.
