Sharing RP Store with Access Nodes

You can share the RP store hosted on a MediaAgent that is not used as an access node for replication. By default, the Commvault software blocks pair creation when none of the access nodes have access to the RP store.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Auto recovery > Replication groups.

   The Replication groups page appears.

2. On the Storage tab, click the RP store.

   The RP store page appears.

3. Under Locations, go to the location row that you want to share, click the action button , and then select Share RP store.

   The Share RP store dialog box appears.

4. For Location, select Local or Network.

5. Select the location.

6. In the Path box, enter the folder path that you want to share.

7. From the Access list, select the permission.

8. If you select the location as Network, authenticate the user to access the network path using one of the following:

   • Select the Saved credentials check box, and then from the Credential list, select the credential.

   • In the User name and Password boxes, enter the credentials.

9. Click Save.
