Use this dialog box to create a virtual tape library (VTL).
VTL Name
Name of the VTL.
Library Vendor
Select the name of the tape library vendor.
Library Type
Select the library that must be emulated.
VDrive Type
Select the drive that must be emulated.
Note
Only a single tape drive type emulation is supported. (Mixed mode libraries are not supported)
Number of VDrives
Select the number of drives that must be emulated.
Drive Start Address
Enter a number as the starting element address to report for the tape drives.
Number of VSlots
Enter the number of storage slots to emulate. The maximum number of storage slots is 60000 per VTL.
Slot Start Address
Enter a number as the starting storage slot.
Number of IE Ports
Enter the number of access ports to emulate. This can be between 0 to 200.
IE Start Address
Enter the number for IE start address.
