Step 1: Review the System Requirements
Review the requirements for the MongoDB Agent. For more information, see System Requirements.
Step 2: Install the MongoDB Agent
You must install the MongoDB agent on all the MongoDB servers.

To prepare for the installation, review general guidelines, which include configurations that your computer might need before the installation. For more information, see Plan the Installation on UNIX.
For Windows installations, see Plan the Installation on Windows Computers.

Select the installation method that is most appropriate for your environment. For more information see, Installation Methods.
The MongoDB package is dependent on the IntelliSnap package, which is, in turn, dependent on the MediaAgent package. Therefore, all the dependent packages are installed as part of the MongoDB agent installation. The MediaAgent package does not consume a license.
Step 3: Prepare the CommCell Environment

Open the CommCell Console.
