Setting Up a New Linux CommServe Server With CommServe LiveSync

You can set up a brand new CommServe server with the High Availability CommServe Host feature.

Procedure

1. Review general guidelines to prepare your environment for setting up the CommServe LiveSync feature.

2. Install the production CommServe host.

3. Install the standby CommServe host.

4. Install a MediaAgent.

5. Configure a storage device, preferably a Disk library, to store backup data.

6. Enable the LiveSync operation.

7. Configure connectivity to remote Web Server and Workflow Engine clients.

8. Verify the default setup.

9. Verify disaster readiness.
