On your end users' computers, in Microsoft Outlook, you can create a folder that is a shortcut to the Web Console. When a user clicks the shortcut, the Web Console opens in a browser to a page that is specific to the current user.
Important
After you create the shortcut, if you update or upgrade the operating system of the Web Console computer with Microsoft Office updates, the shortcut might not work. You can create the shortcut again.
Specify a URL for the Web Console
- From the CommCell Console, at the Exchange proxy client level, add the OutlookAddinUrl additional setting as shown in the following table.

Create a Shortcut to the URL

From the CommCell Console, at the Exchange proxy client level, add the OutlookWebconsoleShortcut additional setting as shown in the following table.

If Your End Users (Not the Access Nodes) Use Outlook 2016, Enable the Home Page Tab
If your end users use any other version of Outlook, you don't need to enable the Home Page tab.

In Outlook, right-click any folder, and then clickProperties.
The Properties dialog box appears.

If the Home Page tab is not enabled, do the following to enable it:

In Windows, open the Registry Editor.

ExpandHKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Office > 16.0 > Outlook.

Right-clickSecurity, and then go toNew > DWORD.

Add the following DWORDs and their corresponding values:

EnableRoamingFolderHomepages with the value00000001.

NonDefaultStoreScript with the hexadecimal value1.

Restart Outlook, and then verify that the Home Page tab is enabled.

Run a Backup or Archive Operation on the Exchange Subclients
- Run a backup or archive operation on the Exchange subclients.
After the operation runs, the shortcut folder appears in each archived mailbox in Outlook.
To see the new folder, end users might need to restart Outlook.
When end users open Outlook, they see a folder with the name that was given for the shortcut. When they open the folder in Outlook, the browser opens the link to log on to theWeb Console.
