In deployments where guest virtual machines are accessible only from the VSA proxy, you can enable remote installations from the proxy.
Before You Begin
Add the Virtual Server Agent, MediaAgent, and any required application agents to the remote cache on the VSA proxy. For more information, see Setting Up a Remote Cache on a Client Computer.

To the VSA proxy, add the FirewallConnctionType additional setting as shown in the following table.

This additional setting is used to specify the incoming HTTPs tunnel port number of VMCSNetwork Proxy's port number based on the firewall connection type noted in the FirewallConnectionType setting. For more information, see the HTTPSPort Additional Setting.
